Cindy grew up in NJ, lived in the SF Bay Area for 19 years, and has been loving living in Gualala since her move here in 2004. She has 2 sons and her husband, Sutton Freebairn-Smith is a local building contractor. She is an avid community volunteer, currently President of Gualala Rotary and a board member of the Point Arena High School Booster Club. Giving back to the community is important to her. In her spare time, she walks her dog Roxy, takes dips in the ocean, gardens, kayaks on the river, and travels.
